I’m frustrated

Fast Track USB driver installation; Windows 7

I am unable to install my Fast Track USB driver version 5.10.00.5080 on to Windows 7. I'm not sure if that is an accurate description but it was bought back in 2006 and I just bought a new Dell computer with Windows 7 Home Premium. The error i recieve after i attempt to install the driver software is "Abort Installation: ...The user is unwilling to install an unassigned driver on this computer..." I have no idea what the problem is and i have tried visiting the avid.com site, and have attempted to install the most up to date driver, as well as the driver version i current have, with still no luck. I was successfully able to install the actuall Session software, but obviously it doesn't work without the Fast Track USB driver. I would appreciate any and all help or suggestions. Thanks
