Hi Sam,
Sorry you are having trouble with that.
This keyboard is class compliant so there are no additional drivers. Check out our guide and try re-configuring your Midi Studio:

You should also try a different USB cable or port. It's very possible a bad port or USB cable would provide power but not data. Even testing it with a different computer may help. You can check out this guide for more info on troubleshooting class-compliant USB devices:

Hope this helps! -

Hi
I have the same issue and you say no drivers are needed but I installed drivers on a previous machine and the keyboard worked fine but now I have a new macbook pro retina and it just does not show up in the Audio MIDI Setup...
I have tried using external power etc. and still no luck.. Please provide drivers that will work on El Capitan-
Hi,
Sorry you are having trouble with that.
It sounds like you are referring to the older/original Keystation model. The first Keystation series did require drivers for certain operating systems.
This model has since been discontinued and will not be updated further. The last driver will support up to OSX 10.8.5. If you'd like, you're welcome to try installing this on the new OS, but I can't make any guarantees:

I too own a very old Midiman Keystation 49 (like you, not the ES model or anything just the Keystation 49). I've been looking now for a long time to find a way to use it with my Mac which is running El Capitan at OS 10.11.5.
That link you posted is the closest I've ever gotten to a solution. So tantalisingly close! (in case you don't know want link I'm talking about it's this one: http://www.m-audio.com/support/downlo... )
I think that driver must work on this operating system because when I'm doing the installation it runs a "program to determine whether the software can be installed". Despite this success, when I reach the end of the installation process it tells me that the installation has failed because "The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install".
Any suggestions? And thank you btw for your help so far... -
