keyrig 49 not working with windows 7 64 bit

ok so i just recently purchased the keyrig 49. my OS is windows 7 64 bit. now the problem is that i installed the driver from the included disc and then i plugged in the keyboard and turned it on. it recognized as a usb composite device but windows says it failed to register as keyrig 49. after searching online i finally found the m audio midi series driver 5_0_1. for windows 7 64 bit but after installing that it still isnt recongized and there is no data being moved to or from my daw. im not sure how to fix this. can anyone help please??
