M-audio 2x2 only one ear working

hi
so i get this new audio interface installed the driver pluged my microphone and its only one ear working on windwos the input says Line 1/2 ( there is no input 2/2 )
i just wana use my mic for streaming
my mic works fine btw what should i go ?

    Thanks for posting!

    Input 1/2 refers to a stereo input using both inputs 1 and 2 - you won't see an input 2/2 for this interface. In the image below, I've selected an M-Track 2X2M as my input device in Ableton Live:



    As you can see, you have the option to enable either two mono channels or one stereo channel. If you are recording one microphone you are recording a mono signal so make sure you are selecting only that input in your DAW (could be 1 or 2 depending on which input to which you've connected the mic) and that you are recording to a mono track.

    The M-Track's inputs can be used together as a stereo input or individually as two mono inputs. The software will ultimately determine how audio is processed so if you're using Discord, you might have some difficulty with an interface that has a stereo input like the M-Track. This thread at Discord's website touches on the idea:
