Pro Fire 2626 Dead Channel

Ive got a Pro Fire 2626 on my bench with 1 dead channel. There is no signal being passed even to the VU LED. Alas, the lovely schmucks at M AUDIO very annoyingly dont offer schematics for this thing and the technical support is a joke which is making for a difficult repair situation. My initial thought beyond bad connections is a failed JFET in the preamp section, but before I go troubleshooting this issue, has anyone on here experienced this issue before? Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

  • Hey Justin,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry you're having some trouble with that! While I cannot advise you in terms of repairing an item yourself I can help you coordinate service. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
